从广义上来讲，期刊的分类，可以分为非正式期刊和正式期刊两种。非正式期刊是指通过行政部门审核领取“内部报刊准印证”作为行业内部交流的期刊，但也是合法期刊的一种，一般正式期刊都经历过非正式期刊过程。

文中的release就是“发布”的意思，作动词，意为“发行，发表”，一般指发布消息，新闻等，如：Details of the scheme have not yet been released to the public.(计划的详情尚未向公众宣布。);亦可以作名词，表示“(刊物，影片等)发行”，如：press release(新闻稿)，release date(发布日期)。

第二段中的hint作名词，意为“暗示，提示”，指用间接、含蓄的语言“暗示”，如：take a hint(接受暗示)，obvious hint(明显的暗示)。

1、省略翻译法

这与最开始提到的增译法相反，就是要求你把不符合汉语，或者英语的表达的方式、思维的习惯或者语言的习惯的部分删去，以免使所翻译出的句子沉杂累赘。

2、合并法

合并翻译法就是把多个短句子或者简单句合并到一起，形成一个复合句或者说复杂句，多出现在汉译英的题目里出现，比如最后会翻译成定语从句、状语从句、宾语从句等等。
